What MemoryPlugin is
MemoryPlugin connects a long list of AI tools to one memory, "21+ AI tools" in its own words, among them ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, Cursor, Claude Code and Codex (MemoryPlugin's site). It gets there several ways: a browser extension for AI websites, a custom GPT that also works in ChatGPT's phone apps, and an MCP server for Claude Desktop and Claude Code.
Its service keeps your memories, and the site says they are "Encrypted in transit and at rest" and never sold or used to train models. It doesn't say where they are stored. Core costs $89 a year and keeps your last 500 conversations of chat history; Pro is $180 a year and adds features such as a knowledge graph and shared buckets. Both come with a 7-day trial.
Where Zaaheen differs
- Where your memories are kept. With Zaaheen they never leave your computer: they are encrypted there, and our servers handle only sign-in and your subscription.
- Price. $48 a year or $5 a month, after 30 days free with no card.
- How apps connect. Zaaheen connects through MCP to the apps on your computer: Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, the ChatGPT app, Codex and others. There is no browser extension.

Where MemoryPlugin is the better choice
If you use AI mostly in a web browser, on your phone, or in tools like Gemini and Perplexity, MemoryPlugin reaches places Zaaheen can't. Its Pro plan also lets you share memory with a team.
Where Zaaheen falls short
- No browser extension, so ChatGPT and Claude in a web browser can't use it.
- No phone version, and on computers only Windows and Macs with Apple chips.
- Your memory lives on one computer; there is no sync between computers yet.
- After the 30-day trial there is no free plan.
